本日の一冊は、なんとトヨタ生産方式のエッセンスと生産現場で使われる英語が同時に学べるという、便利な一冊です（現在予約中）。

英語版元の研究社さんから発売されるので、ビジネスパーソンにきちんと存在が知られるかどうか微妙ですが、興味深い内容です。

「ジャスト・イン・タイム」や「平準化」「ムリ、ムラ、ムダ」といった、いわゆる「トヨタ語」を日本語と英語で解説しています。

紹介されているあらゆる概念に英語が付されており、トヨタの社員はもちろん、生産現場に関わる方なら、必須の英語表現が学べます。

ちなみに「平準化」は”production leveling”、「ムリ、ムラ、ムダ」は”Unreasonableness, Inconsistency, Waste”と言うのだそうです。
